What data we collect

Information you provide directly:

• name, email, and optionally phone from the contact form,
• your message and enquiry details,
• data in email correspondence.

Technical data when you visit the site:

• IP address, browser type, date and time of access (hosting server logs),
• browser language preference (for site language selection).

Purpose and legal basis

We process contact form data to respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work together. The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and/or steps prior to entering a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention

Enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle your request and follow-up communication, for up to 3 years from last contact unless a contract is formed. Server logs are retained by our host for a few weeks.

Recipients

Your data may be processed by:

• Formspree — contact form delivery (USA, standard contractual clauses),
• our website hosting provider for stepanka.studio,
• Google Fonts — font delivery (may include IP address, see Google's policy).

We do not sell your data or use it for profiling.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics or marketing cookies. We store your language choice (EN/CS) in localStorage so the site respects your preference on return visits.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request:

• access, rectification, or erasure of your data,
• restriction of processing or object to processing,
• data portability where applicable,
